Jordan Abboud is the Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Midwest Housing Equity Group, Inc. (“MHEG”). She leads the asset management department, which tracks, evaluates, and when needed, enhances the financial, operational, and physical condition of the properties. She also manages the compliance department, which helps confirm that residents are properly qualified. Together, these departments ensure delivery of tax credits to MHEG’s investors. Jordan joined MHEG in 2007 as a Due Diligence Assistant in the development department, and then moved to the asset management department in 2010. She earned a B.S. in Business Economics from South Dakota State University, and a Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Ann Burge is the Chief Operating Officer of Midwest Housing Equity Group, Inc. (“MHEG”). As COO, she assists in the day-to-day management and operation of the corporation. Ann has previously served as the Vice President of Asset Management and is responsible for the leadership of the asset management and compliance monitoring teams, ensuring that the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (Housing Credit) portfolio is in excellent physical and financial condition and in compliance with the Housing Credit regulations. Prior to joining MHEG in 2011, Ann was the Executive Director for the Southwest Nebraska Community Betterment Corporation. She has served several positions on the Nebraska Housing Developer’s Board of Directors and has obtained her Nebraska Real Estates Salesperson license. Ann received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Becky Christoffersen is the Chief Investment Officer of Midwest Housing Equity Group, Inc. (“MHEG”). As Chief Investment Officer, she is responsible for overseeing all fundraising efforts and investor relations, as well as preparing, reviewing and closing each new Fund offering. Becky also works with the Chief Acquisitions Officer to ensure all of MHEG’s investments meet investor underwriting requirements. She was previously MHEG’s Director of Investor Relations and MHEG’s Director of Development and Underwriting. Becky also served in various roles at Midwest Housing Development Fund, Inc. a 501(c)(3) organization and a Community Development Financial Institution from 2000 until 2018 (Midwest Housing Development Fund is now a MHEG subsidiary). She currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of Impact Development Fund, a Colorado based Community Development Financial Institution. Becky previously served as a member and Vice-Chair of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka’s Affordable Housing Advisory Council. Prior to joining MHEG in 1996, Becky was a Senior Auditor for Deloitte in Omaha, Nebraska. She received a B.A. in Business Administration from Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska and a Master of Public Accountancy from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Sammy Ehtisham is the Vice President of Acquisitions at Midwest Housing Equity Group, Inc. (“MHEG”). He joined MHEG in 2007 and works exclusively on affordable housing developments that utilize the Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit. Sammy has a passion for creating affordable and inclusive communities that improve the quality of life for low and moderate income and underserved populations. He previously served on the board of directors for Uplift Mentoring (formerly known as Mission Shawnee) as the Treasurer (2015-2021). Prior to joining MHEG, Sammy was employed with the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) as a Housing Financial Analyst on the Housing Development Team. Sammy holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in management from East Central University.

Jason Main is Chief Financial Officer of Midwest Housing Equity Group, Inc. (“MHEG”). As CFO, he is responsible for all financial and investor reporting as well as overseeing all accounting functions of MHEG. Prior to joining MHEG in 2002, Jason worked for Deloitte & Touche LLP and had over eight years of public and private accounting experience. Jason is a Non-practicing CPA. He received a B.A. in Business Administration with an accounting emphasis from Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska.

Tom Stratman is the Chief Acquisitions Officer of Midwest Housing Equity Group, Inc. (“MHEG”). As Chief Acquisitions Officer, he is responsible for managing the origination, underwriting and closing of MHEG’s tax credit investments, ensuring the developments comply with MHEG’s underwriting guidelines and all requirements of the tax code. Tom joined MHEG in 2003. Prior to his current role, he was the Vice President of Acquisitions and a Senior Asset Manager. He received his B.A. in Economics from Creighton University and a Masters of Economics from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He currently serves on the Board of Commissioners and Finance Committee for Douglas County Housing Authority.

John Wiechmann is the President and CEO of Midwest Housing Equity Group, Inc. (“MHEG”), a Nebraska nonprofit corporation. Prior to joining MHEG as CEO in 2012, John served as a partner with the law firm Kutak Rock LLP. His practice at Kutak Rock focused on community development investments, with an emphasis on affordable housing and renewable energy transactions. John previously served on Board of Directors of Midwest Housing Development Fund, Inc, a community development financial institution (2012-2018), as a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka’s Affordable Housing Advisory Council (2014-2018, Vice-Chair 2016-2018), as a Trustee of the Multifamily Council for the National Association of Homebuilders (2015-2020), and as a member of Fannie Mae’s Rural Housing DTS Advisory Council (2018-2020). He was also a member of BluePrint Nebraska’s Housing Industry Council. John currently serves on the Board of the Aksarben Foundation and on the Offutt Airforce Base Advisory Council (home of Strategic Air Command). John received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law.

Joshua Yurek is the Vice President of Government Affairs & Community Outreach for Midwest Housing Equity Group (“MHEG”), overseeing their federal and state policy agenda. He also plays a key role in driving business development for MHEG by maintaining existing developer relationships and identifying new partnerships to grow the footprint. Joshua brings over ten years of Congressional work experience, most recently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor for Senator Pat Roberts (R-Kansas). In this role, he provided strategic recommendations on a wide array of policy issues. Joshua worked extensively with the Senate Finance Committee, which has jurisdiction over vital affordable housing tools, including housing tax credits. He represented the Senator to negotiate significant policy reforms involving affordable housing, rural housing, and the most recent tax reform debate in 2017. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Rockhurst University and an MBA from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business.
